Some favorites of 2024 ✨

I’ve been quiet here because most of my energy has been going towards @alpenglowbookstore lately 🎉 But photography and videography are still important to me, and I’m grateful to have seen some amazing things this past year. I appreciate the process of reflecting on the year through the places I brought my camera — lugging it around an “eco park” in Mexico and up an active volcano in Chile, in the dark looking up at the Milky Way and in the soft morning before dawn, along the Teton Crest Trail where I was too exhausted and soaked to pull it out for two days, onto a boat coasting around choppy waters to look for whales. Every year has ups and downs — these photos don’t show my nausea in Chile or the stomach bug the weekend before the bookstore opened, disappointments or anxieties — but I sure appreciate the ups. Happy New Year 🥳

Shoutout to the folks running the gondola until midnight who made it possible for me to get up to this vantage point without hiking 🤪 and shoutout to the wild animals for leaving me alone while I sat and watched the stars in the dark
