Client: U.S. Forest Service
Colorado’s White River National Forest is the busiest national forest in the United States, with more than 10 million visitors taking in its beauty every year. The national forest’s rising popularity extends to its Maroon Bells-Snowmass Wilderness area, which is home to the iconic Maroon Bells mountains and the popular Four Pass Loop backpacking route.
With rapid increases in visitation to this region in recent years, the Forest Service needed a video to welcome visitors to the wilderness area and teach them how to take care of it. In addition to an English version, we also made the same video in Spanish to appeal to a greater population of tourists as well as the large Spanish-speaking community surrounding the wilderness area. Both videos were posted to Recreation.gov, where visitors staying overnight in certain zones must register for a permit before embarking on their trip.
